The 9th International Topical Meeting on Neutron Radiography (ITMNR-9), is now open for abstracts at our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITMNR-9 will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October 2020, and will focus on \u00abApplications of Neutron Imaging for Science, Industry and Heritage\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be the 9th conference in the ITMNR series being coordinated by the International Society for Neutron Radiology (ISNR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meetings are an international gathering of researchers, students and users who are interested in neutron imaging (radiography and tomography) and its applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please submit your abstract until 31 March 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For detailed information and submission forms, please have a look at our website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oral and poster contributions within the following topics will be particularly welcome:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Electrochemistry: batteries, fuel cells, etc
\u2013 Nuclear: fuel, structural materials, moderators, etc
\u2013 Hydrogen\/processes: hydrogen storage, processes involving fluids
\u2013 Materials engineering: new materials, welds, cracks, stresses, texture, etc
\u2013 Heritage: study and conservation
\u2013 Concrete\/rocks: porous media, porosity, permeability
\u2013 Agriculture\/wood: plants physiology, wood study and conservation
\u2013 Palaeontology: fossils, there is an interested community in Argentina.
\u2013 Instruments: new instruments and gained experience.
\u2013 Methods\/analysis: NGI, Bragg edges, neutron microscope, etc
\u2013 Tomography: dual X-ray+neutron, novel software, methodical problems, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
