We are pleased to announce the X Summer School on Statistical Physics of Complex Systems, promoted by the Topical Group on Statistical and Nonlinear Physics (GEFENOL) of the Spanish Physical Society. The School follows previous successful editions in Palma de Mallorca (2011, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018), Benasque (2012), Barcelona (2015), Pamplona (2016) and Santander (2019).
The school, oriented to Master and PhD students and young postdocs worldwide will take place at IFISC (CSIC-UIB) in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on August 28-September 2, 2022 and will include four courses:
* Self-organization of Protein Patterns, by Erwin Frey, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
* Complex Networks: Theory and Applications, by Ernesto Estrada, IFISC (CSIC-UIB).
* From Collective Motion to Collective Actuation in Populations of Polar Active Units, by Olivier Dauchot, ESPCI Paris-PSL
* Deep Learning for Data Analysis, by Lara Lloret, IFCA (CSIC-Universidad de Cantrabria).
Additional keynote talks, hands-on sessions, and presentations by the participants will also be scheduled.
On this special edition the school will be followed by the II Summer School on Complex Socio-Technical Systems.
