Taking place from January 18 to 28, 2027, at ICTP-SAIFR in São Paulo, Brazil, the School and Workshop on Theoretical Ecology and the Physics of Life: Upscaling Biodiversity in a Changing World is an interdisciplinary event aimed primarily at graduate students and researchers in the life sciences, mathematics, and physics that combines training in analytical, computational, and complex systems tools with a two-day collaborative workshop featuring talks and poster sessions to address global biodiversity challenges and foster scientific networks across South America.
